Synopsis
The citizens of a small Kansas town must deal with survival when a nuclear mushroom cloud appears on the horizon, leaving them isolated from the outside world.
Broadcast History
The show first aired in the fall of 2006 on CBS. It started with good ratings, but CBS took the show off the air for a three month hiatus over winter, and the audience didn't return. The show was not on the network's 2007/08 schedule. A fan-led campaign to have the show renewed began, and CBS reversed their decision, and ordered a short second season, to premier as a mid-season replacement.
